What should I look for in a 3d provider?
When scheduling and appointment please be sure to ask if your sonographer is a registered diagnostic sonographer through the ARDMS. It is important to understand who you are placing your trust in. Little Life imaging is a provider of the most trusted 3d/4d ultrasound. We are a compliant free standing elective 3d center with a board certified ob physician overseeing quality control. Skill, accuracy and professionalism are the keys to a reassuring enjoyable ultrasound experience.
PLEASE BE AWARE! The term “Certified ultrasound technologist” is being abused by some organizations who train anyone off the street through their non-medical short course “Certification program”and use these terms to describe their staff’s credentials.

Price isn’t everything. It is true that you get what you pay for. Is ultrasound safe?
Little Life Imaging uses the same medical imaging equipment that is used by the world’s finest prenatal centers and children’s hospitals and it as safe as the machine used over and over again at your OB’s office. Ultrasound technology has been the used for hundreds of clinical studies for over 30 years and has not been shown to cause any harm to mom or baby.
Do I need a note from my doctor? We do require you are in the care of an OB doctor before your visit.
No, a note is not required from your doctor. We do require you bring your doctors name and phone number so we have a contact number in case of any kind of emergency with mom or baby.
Will my pictures look like the one on the website?
The most important factor in obtaining quality images is the position of the baby. The amount of amniotic fluid, the position of the placenta, and the amount of tissue between the probe and the baby are also factors that can affect the quality of the image.
IT IS VERY HELPFUL TO GET GOOD QUALITY IMAGES BY STAYING HYDRATED AND LIMIT YOUR CAFFEINE INTAKE. DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS ONE WEEK BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT. THE MORE THE FLUID AROUND THE BABY…. THE BETTER THE IMAGES.
Can I invite family and friends?
You sure can!
We do allow you to bring up to 7 family and friends. There is a large viewing screen for your family and friends to enjoy!
Do I need to schedule an appointment?
Yes you do. Please try to schedule your appointment 2 weeks ahead of time if you can.
Will you be able to determine the sex of my baby?
Our sonographers are skilled and experienced in obstetrical ultrasound. We have a high first time success rate. It you leave our office and your Ob doctor confirms it is not a girl or boy we will have you return for a free Second Peek to give you peace of mind.
What is the best time to have a Little Life Imaging session?
We usually recommend visiting between 16 to 36 weeks gestation. We can normally determine the baby’s gender by week 16.
